Steven Shields

Steven Shields is a master’s candidate in the Department of Religious Studies at Georgia State University. He received his JD from Mercer Law School in 2013. He is currently a Student Innovation Fellow with ATLmaps.org. Starting in 2019, he will be the Ethics Program Coordinator for Wellstar Health Systems.

Katie Hemsworth

Katie Hemsworth is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Geography at Nipissing University. She is a critical-cultural geographer with research specializations in sonic, carceral, and emotional geographies. She is also currently a collaborator with ATLMaps at Georgia State University.

Ashley Cheyemi McNeil

Ashley Cheyemi McNeil is a binational PhD candidate in multiethnic American literature at Georgia State University and in American Studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany. She is particularly invested in leveraging digital platforms to connect local communities to students’ higher education tenures. Ashley Cheyemi is ATLMaps’s project manager for the Student Innovation Fellowship through the Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning at GSU.
