Kofi Boone is an Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at NC State University, College of Design. Kofi is a member of the Academy of Outstanding Teachers and a faculty fellow of the Institute for Emerging Issues. He focuses on developing tools for enhanced community engagement and design. Kofi works in the landscape context of environmental justice, and his research includes the use of new media as a means of increasing community power in design and planning processes. Kofi earned his Master of Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan.
