Nico Larco, AIA, is an associate professor of architecture and co-director of the Sustainable Cities Initiative at the University of Oregon. His work focuses on sustainable urban design, especially the intersection of private development, public regulations, and urban design that facilitate more active and sustainable public spaces. Larco was a Distinguished Fulbright Scholar to Spain in 2012 and is a licensed, practicing architect. Larco was recognized as a 2012 Faculty Innovator in Sustainability by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
Marc Schlossberg
Marc Schlossberg, PhD, is an associate professor of planning, public policy and management and co-director of the Sustainable Cities Initiative at the University of Oregon. His work focuses on redesigning communities for more active transportation (walking and biking) and participatory mapping methods to catalyze community change. Schlossberg was a Distinguished Fulbright Scholar to the United Kingdom in 2010 and served as a US Peace Corps volunteer (Fiji) prior to entering academia. Schlossberg was recognized as a 2012 Faculty Innovator in Sustainability by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
